About 47th St Now

West 47th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues is the largest diamond district in the United States: one block that concentrates hundreds of dealers, cutters, setters and appraisers. The district is often cited as handling the majority of diamonds entering the U.S. market each year.

47th St Now is an independent board for that block. Every 4 hours we re-check the public data behind the board — dealer hours are recomputed for New York time, dealer websites are re-tested, and new listings go live.

What the board shows

• Dealers on the block: names, addresses, phones, websites, ratings, today's hours and open/closed status.
• Listings posted by dealers themselves — stones, pieces, and services.
• The cycle time: every page shows when the data was last refreshed.

Honesty rules

• We only show data from public sources or dealer submissions; we never invent inventory.
• We are not affiliated with any dealer on the board, and we never take a cut of a deal.
• Ratings and hours come from the dealers' public Google Maps listings.
• Buyers: verify stones with an independent appraiser. Sellers: keep your listings accurate.
